Meet Our Drivers

These three drivers are the backbone of Checker Transportation.  They have worked hard to build this company to what it is today!

Charles is the owner of Checker Transportation as well as a Driver for Checker! Charles is the go to when there is a late night run!  You will often see him out running around the clock!

Brian is our lead driver and is an Owner Operator. He takes care of all the problems our other drivers have and makes sure everyone stays rolling!!

Ronnie is a driver for Checker Transportation.  He is a great driver with dedication.  We are lucky to have Ronnie back in a Checker Truck running with us.

Ronnie was the first Owner Operator to join the Checker Team!  He was a huge blessing in establishing Checker Transportation!  If ever there was a Hot load to be delivered, Ronnie was your guy!  Ronnie retired in July 2025 and we miss him greatly!!

Misti is one of the owners at Checker Transportation as well as the Office Manager.  She likes to think she's a driver, but Checker only allows her to jockey trucks back and forth to the Mechanic.  She takes care of all dispatching, billing and anything else that comes her way!!  Misti drives all Checker Trucks!!

LeAnna works in the office making sure IFTA is done properly and reported to OCC as well as manages the profit and loss for each truck.

These 4 were a huge asset to Checker Transportation!  They ran many loads when no one else was running!  We are going to miss Ronnie, Rick and Wanzo this year!

Mahkael joined us back in May! He has been a great asset to our team! We call him the boat anchor lol! He knows how to sink a boat but keep the left door closed! He's a company driver in Greyhound Truck #30.

Floyd Chism is our newest Owner Operator. We call him Pretty Boy Floyd lol! He has been with us before and we are happy to have him back! His truck is #45.  Meet Pretty Boy Floyd!
